- First, copy the XML codes of your desired theme from the text file and go to your Blogger page.
- Scroll to the top of your page and click on the right side on Design.
- Or go to www.blogger.com and click on the left side on Theme.
- Click with your mouse button on the white arrow.
- Choose Edit HTML.
- Important: save your current XML codes in a text file. Changing your XML codes will permantly alter your layout and it could be you you prefer your own layout as it is. In that case it's better to use CSS codes to change the layout of your blog page. Click here for the instructions to install a theme with CSS.
- Remove all the codes that are shown in the field in front of you.
- Copy and paste the XML codes from your desired theme in the white field.
- Before saving, press on the Eye icon to preview if this theme is to your liking (red arrow). If you don't like it, press on the Eye icon again and press on Revert Last Changes (blue arrow). This will bring back your previous XML codes.
- If you are content with the entire layout of your blog page, press on Save.
- Done!
